Meaning:
The idea that something or someone is easily forgotten or dismissed as unimportant if it is not in our direct view.
Origin:
The use of 'in mind' for 'remembered' and 'out of mind' for 'forgotten' date back to the at least the 13th century. The earliest printed citation of a link with memory and the sight of something is in John Heywood's Woorkes.
"Out of sight out of minde."
There are some things which we think about only as long as we can see them in front of us; when we can no longer see them (out of sight) we forget about them (out of mind).
Example:
"As soon as I leave the room, he just forgets what I told him to do!"
Answer:
"Out of sight, out of mind." Something which is easily fogotten when you can no longer see it is "out of sight, out of mind."
Example:
"You're so happy to finally visit a distant relative but once you've parted ways you seem to forget they're out there
Answer:
"Out of sight, out of mind." Something which is easily fogotten when you can no longer see it is "out of sight, out of mind."
Example:
"I meant to read that book, but as soon as I put it down, I forgot about it."

ever have one of those days
where ya hate the world
and ya hate yourself?
ever have one of those days
where ya feel like no one
knows you're there or cares?
i have those days every day
and i cant seem to stay away
from all the anger and the heartache
ever have one of those days
where ya wanna just die
but you decide to stop and think
ever have one of those days
where ya wake up and ask why
do I even have to get up.
i have those days every day
and i cant seem to stay away
from all the anger and the heartache
ever have one of those days
where ya wake up next
to the one that ya love
i had one of those days today
and every day -

A fake person is someone who is not genuine and will do whatever it takes to make themselves look good. They will take credit for others work or down play the good of others to illuminate oneself.
Fake people take part in hypocrisy, lies, and will turn on friendship the moment it no longer is a benefit for them. They will change their personality to fit in to a certain group.
Sometimes it's insecurity. They don't have any faith in their real selves so they become fake. Other times it's selfishness. They are fake because they want to manipulate and gain something.
Other times it is so deeply ingrained in their character that they don't even realize that they do it.
I was recently called FAKE, And
I beg to differ - I hold on to the old adage "IMITATION IS THE SINCEREST FORM OF FLATTERY" - "Usually said ironically when someone tries to gain attention by copying someone else's original ideas, looks, and or lifestyle. Coined by Charles Caleb Colton in 1820 in his 'Lacon.' First attested in the United States in 'Malice' (1940) by E. Cameron. The adage is found in varying forms." From "Random House Dictionary of Popular Proverbs and Sayings" by Gregory Y. Titelman (Random House, New York, 1996)..
So let's get the name calling correct people before we cast stones.

My concern is no longer for the many regrets in my life but for my future life. A life of stability, a loving relationship, mended family disputes and good health.
When we're young many things are taken for granite and there isn't much appreciation for the simple things in life, everything is superficial and hype. As you mature you later somehow begin to cherish and hold dear the simple things.
I guess this morning I am feeling like I want to live and enjoy life to the fullest. The thought of leaving this world behind at times seems so simple when things are going bad but knowing that there are those around that still care and love me - motivates me to want more of whatever is left for me. I love my life in spite of it all - you should love your life to it's fullest while you still can enjoy the fruit it produces!

Here in the midst of these prison walls;
Many have fallen for the breaking of laws.
Murder,envy anger and strife;
Are a convicts lot in this prison life.
No hearts on a shoulder; Just hidden rage.
Housed like an animal; A bird in a cage.
Unspoken fears, secrets untold;
Just cause it glitters doesn't mean that it's gold.
Innocent or guilty, we're all locked down;
Don't take my word for it, just ask around.
Within these walls it's "Adam and Steve"
Where some mans wife knows he'll never leave.
With a code of their own they live this life;
A prison life thats filled with strife.
Here in the midst of these prison walls;
So few with heart and less with balls
